                   Results of the Registration Examination
                    Based on MPEP 8th Edition, Revision 1

   Between July 26, 2004 and June 9, 2005, the computer delivered
registration examination was given each business day. The examination
was based on the 8th Edition, Revision 1, of the Manual of
Patent Examining Procedure (MPEP). Official results for examinations
based on Revision 1 were mailed within eight weeks or less of the
examination dates.

   2113 individuals took the examination based on MPEP, 8th Edition,
Revision 1 with a passing rate of 56.4%.
