(28) Closing of the Patent and Trademark Office on
Wednesday, April 27, 1994
In view of the fact that Federal government offices in the
Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, including the Patent and

proclaimed by President Clinton as a National Day of Mourning, the
Patent and Trademark Office will consider April 27, 1994 a "holiday
within the District of Columbia" under 35 U.S.C. 21. Any action or
fee due that day will be considered as timely for the purposes of e.g.,
35 U.S.C. 119, 133 and 151, if the action is taken, or fee paid, on
April 28, 1994.
