(173) Filing Receipt for Trademark Applications Effective immediately, the Trademark Examining Operation will replace its existing "FILING RECEIPT FOR TRADEMARK APPLICATIONS," PTO Form 100 (Rev. 8/78), with a filing receipt using a new format. The revised filing receipt will be printed on a single sheet of 8 1/2" x 11" paper and will contain information regarding the mark, applicant, International and U.S. classes, goods and/or services, and dates of use. If all of the information relating to a new application cannot be printed on the 8 1/2" x 11" filing receipt, it will be noted that additional information was contained in the application but was not printed.
