• PTMT reports display patent statistics and data by calendar year (1 January to 31 December).
• For most users, PTMT reports displaying utility patent statistics will be the ones of interest - utility patents are also known as “patents for inventions.”
• The most recently updated PTMT reports include data for patents granted through 2020.
