PTMT reports display patent statistics and data by calendar year (1 January to 31 December).
For most users, PTMT reports displaying utility patent statistics will be the ones of interest - utility patents are also known as “patents for inventions.”
The most recently updated U.S. university PTMT reports include data for patents granted through 2005.
