Angela Lykos began her career with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in 1994 as a trademark examining attorney. She subsequently served as a senior attorney before becoming an interlocutory attorney in 2000 at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). She has been in her current position as an administrative trademark judge since 2010. Ms. Lykos served as the editor of the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board Manual of Procedure in 2010. Prior to joining the USPTO, she was an attorney with the law firm of Miller & Chevalier in Washington, D.C., and practiced international trade law. She received her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University, her Master of Arts in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and her Juris Doctor from Duke University.
