Attend the seventh annual USPTO Additive Manufacturing Partnership Meeting
Come to the seventh annual USPTO Additive Manufacturing Partnership Meeting to learn about the latest advances in 3D printing. Speakers from the National Science Foundation, Penn State’s CIMP-3D applied research laboratory, Texas A&M University, and other prestigious institutions will share their insights on this fascinating and growing field.
To RSVP and learn more contact 3Dprinting@uspto.gov or maria.ewald@uspto.gov. To confirm your attendance, contact Veronica Ewald at 571-272-8519.
Representatives will provide overviews of the application of additive manufacturing to different technologies. The meeting will serve as a forum for sharing ideas, experiences, and insights between individual users and the USPTO, and your participation will help the USPTO improve our products and services.
If you are a member of an innovative additive manufacturing organization or program and would like to be a presenter, please contact us at 3Dprinting@uspto.gov or maria.ewald@uspto.gov. The meeting is informal and our partnership groups are formed with full recognition of the USPTO’s responsibility under the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA); however, groups are not established to be FACA compliant committees.
Additive manufacturing uses materials printers to build three dimensional solid objects in layers from a digital model. It plays a key role in an expanding variety of fields including architecture, engineering, medicine, and dentistry, as well as the automobile, aerospace, jewelry, and footwear industries.
