Hosted by the Nation of Makers along with the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) and in collaboration with the Congressional Maker Caucus, this event explores the movement driven by engineers, hobbyists, tinkerers, crafters, artists, entrepreneurs, and innovators that is changing the face of education, breathing new life and innovation into American manufacturing, and strengthening American communities and their economy.
The director of the USPTO’s Office of Education and Outreach (OEO), Joyce Ward, will participate in a morning panel on “The Federal Government and Making,” at 11:30 a.m. ET. An OEO booth, featuring activities and USPTO information, will be part of the evening session.
