Nearly three years of strict COVID-19 protocols and shut-downs in China have brought special challenges for U.S. rights holders wishing to protect and enforce their intellectual property (IP) there. On-the-ground China intellectual property (IP) experts from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) can provide you with important information about the current status of IP protection and enforcement in China.
Join us on January 17, from 7-8 p.m. ET, for this free, one-hour program that will feature presentations by three current or recent USPTO IP attachés posted to China:
- Conrad Wong, currently an attorney-advisor in the USPTO’s Office of Policy and International Affairs, and until 2022 the IP attaché with the United States Consulate General in Guangzhou, China
- Duncan Willson, IP Counselor at the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, China
- Juli Schwartz, IP attaché with the United States Consulate General in Shanghai, China
IP topics to be covered will include patents, trademarks, copyright, trade secrets, and IP enforcement. This program will offer IP rights holders and those doing business in China a unique opportunity to hear key insights from these China IP experts.
Agenda
A detailed agenda will be posted to this page at least one week before the program date.
