Join us in person on Wednesday, October 2, from noon to 2 p.m. ET for the grand opening of the Patent and Trademark Resource Center (PTRC) at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore’s Frederick Douglass Library

Connect with local PTRC representatives and inspiring guest speakers as they discuss the vital role of intellectual property (IP) in fueling creativity. You'll also have the opportunity to participate in free workshops and networking opportunities.

This event will begin with a welcome session featuring:

  • Dr. Pamela Allison, Endowed Chair for Entrepreneurship and Program Innovation, University of Maryland Eastern Shore
  • Robin Evans, Deputy Commissioner for Patents, USPTO
  • Dr. Rondall Allen, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, University of Maryland Eastern Shore
  • Sharon Brooks, Acting Director of Library Services, University of Maryland Eastern Shore

Afterwards there will be a PTRC demonstration by Joseph Bree, Access Services Librarian, University of Maryland Eastern Shore, followed by a networking reception.
