Join us for Noche de Ciencias (Night of Science) 2024

The USPTO, in collaboration with the USPTO chapter of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) and Alexandria City Public Schools, will host Noche de Ciencias (Night of Science). Started in 2008, this SHPE national program introduces K-12 students and families to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through hands-on activities. It also exposes participants to college and career information in STEM fields.

Come join us on Thursday, November 14, from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. ET, at USPTO headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia!

The event is expected to draw over 500 visitors from the area. There will be hands-on STEM-related activities designed to help develop problem solving and inventive thinking while introducing visitors to intellectual property concepts like patents and trademarks. The USPTO and other STEM-focused federal agencies will have exhibits, information, and presentations that showcase STEM concepts and careers to students.

No registration is needed for this event. For questions or more information, please contact the USPTO's education team.
