Are you an educator who uses invention or intellectual property concepts in your classroom? Join the education team at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) to learn about the Master Teacher of Invention Education Program (MTIP). In this information session on Tuesday, October 15 from 7-8 p.m. ET, you will learn about MTIP and how to apply.
The mission of MTIP is to cultivate a national network of teacher-leaders who empower fellow educators in their communities to use invention and intellectual property concepts in their classrooms. This program is designed to help teachers realize the full creative potential of students and nurture their success as the next generation of American thinkers, problem solvers, inventors, innovators, and entrepreneurs. This is a unique opportunity to become a leader at the forefront of the USPTO's mission to build a more inclusive innovation ecosystem.
Register now to join the event and learn more about the MTIP application process. If selected as an MTIP participant, you will work closely with the USPTO's education team in the Office of Public Engagement to provide professional development opportunities to other educators interested in implementing invention and intellectual property in their classrooms, schools, districts, and local communities. Resources and training will be provided.
