Do you have a concept or invention you want to patent? Is this your first time filing for a utility patent? Do you need to learn how to search public patent databases?
The Pre-Application Assessment Pilot program, happening virtually December 10 - 11, will help jump-start your entrepreneurial innovation journey.
This two-day online workshop is designed to support first-time, prospective inventors by providing assistance in assessing the strengths and weaknesses of a potential patent application. USPTO examiners will help first-time prospective patent applicants determine if their invention is novel in the art by providing one-on-one search assistance using public patent tools. We’ll also discuss:
- Patent application basics
- Patent public search tools
- Low-cost or free legal support
- Additional programs to assist first-time filers
Capacity is limited, so submit the required interest form as soon as possible. Only the first 100 interest forms received will be considered.
