Would you like to learn more about examination practices and procedural guidance for 35 U.S.C. § 103 writing rejections? Register today for part two of the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s (USPTO) virtual Instructor-Led Training (vILT) series on May 26. This course is based on recent training delivered to patent examiners. You will see hypothetical examples of how to construct clear and complete 35 U.S.C. § 103 writing rejections.
Participants will learn basic information regarding:
- How to establish a prima facie case
- Rationale for combining prior art
- Communicating a rejection
The USPTO is approved for two hours of continued legal education (CLE) credits in Virginia for this course. Learn more about the program and upcoming sessions.
