Celebrate innovation at CES with the National Inventors Hall of Fame and the USPTO
For the second year in a row, the National Inventors Hall of Fame® (NIHF) will announce its 2020 class of inductees at CES® (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas.
CES is an annual trade show organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) that announces new technologies and celebrates innovation. This January, NIHF will be making its inductee announcement live from the event.
This group of visionary innovators has advanced some of the world’s most groundbreaking and influential technologies. Each inductee is a U.S. patent holder who has made a significant impact on society, and their acceptance into NIHF is kept entirely confidential until the official announcement is made.
Join us for a memorable conversation
The 2020 class of inductees will be revealed on the CTA Grand Lobby Stage on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at 1 p.m. PT.
Sharing the announcement is a panel that CES attendees won’t want to miss. NIHF’s Executive Vice President of Selection and Recognition Rini Paiva and Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the USPTO Andrei Iancu will be joined by two special guests, including a new 2020 inductee and a current NIHF inductee who is a household name in the technology world.
The panel will offer invaluable insights as they share their perspectives on the evolving technology landscape and discuss the importance of innovation.
The new class of inductees will officially join the NIHF family during the annual induction ceremony on Thursday, May 7, 2020, at the National Building Museum in Washington, D.C.
This event is open to CES attendees and the media. For more information, please see the CES 2020 event page on the National Inventor’s Hall of Fame website. For other USPTO events see the USPTO at CES webpage.
