Join us in Atlanta for a southeast regional patent examiner recruitment open house on Friday, February 21, or on Saturday, February 22 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day at the Georgia Tech Library: Crosland Tower Classroom 2130. Walk-ins are welcome.
After attending an info session, you can meet directly with recruiters to learn more about the unique technical qualifications we are looking for in engineers to hire as patent examiners. Our recruiters will be ready with answers to all your questions. You'll also receive information about our competitive salary, benefits, work-life balance, and why the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is consistently ranked one of the best places to work in the federal government.
You will also have the opportunity to speak to USPTO recruiters about our current job openings and how to apply via USAJOBS.gov.
There will be no job interviews at this event. Those who qualify will be encouraged to apply (candidates cannot be officially considered for open positions without submitting a completed application within USAJOBS.gov).
NOTE: We have recently updated our program agenda.
Multiple information sessions are scheduled starting at 10:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. Be sure to stick around after the info sessions to speak one-on-one with USPTO recruiters!
And beginning at 3 p.m. each day, we are conducting an informal Q&A with USPTO recruiters! This is an opportunity for you to come with any questions you may have:
- What is a day in the life of a patent examiner really like?
- What is it like to work in a Federal agency?
- What is it like to work in Intellectual Property?
