Nakia Henry is an attorney advisor for Trademarks Customer Outreach at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). She uses her 19 years of experience as an examining attorney to help small businesses and education professionals have a better understanding of trademark law and the federal trademark registration process. She serves customers through webinars, live presentations, conferences, relevant video content, and other multimedia platforms.
Before joining the USPTO, Henry worked at an intellectual property law office as an attorney. She earned a bachelor’s degree in speech communication from the University of Washington and a law degree from the University of Miami. She was the former president of the Intellectual Property Association at the University of Miami and is the recipient of several Customer Service Recognition Awards.
