The Science and Engineering Fair of Metropolitan Detroit provides students in the Detroit metropolitan area an opportunity to develop and exhibit science fair projects. Regional Director Damian O. Porcari, of the Midwest office will serve as judge of the students' science fair projects, and will select students whose inventions demonstrate novelty, non-obviousness, and usefulness for a professional award.
Regional Director Porcari will present the professional award to the selected students at the All About STEM event, which will be held at the Detroit Public Library Patent and Trademark Resource Center during the May 11 World IP Day celebration.
This year's fair offers many exciting new categories including - Technology and Robotics, Renewable Energy, Biology, and other simplified categories for the Junior Division, so register online at www.sefmd.org.
