The Midwest Regional USPTO hosts an interactive rotating 3-part series on the patent process, types of patent applications and how to file, and interactive patent searching every 3rd Wednesday of each month. This event is intended for individuals with a beginning to intermediate level of knowledge of patents. Each class builds off the prior class, while it is not necessary, it is recommended to attend the series in order.
