If you are a Junior or Cadette Girl Scout, take this opportunity to earn your Intellectual Property (IP) Patch. Join local IP attorneys from Brooks Kushman to learn about copyrights, patents, and trademarks at the United States Patent and Trademark Office's (USPTO) Elijah J. McCoy Midwest Regional Office. You will participate in hands-on activities including designing you own trademark and repurposing a Juliette Gordon Low invention. To register, or for more information, visit the Girl Scouts of Southeastern Michigan's website (link is external).
The IP patch was developed as a joint partnership between the Girl Scouts Nations Capital Council, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and the Intellectual Property Owners Education Foundation.
