Inventor Dean Kamen and USPTO Director Andrei Iancu discussed Kamen's career and passion for inventing, as well as his dedication to the world’s youth through STEM education. Kamen is the inventor of the Segway and Auto Syringe. He is also an entrepreneur, and a tireless advocate for science and technology. He holds more than 440 U.S. and foreign patents and is the founder of FIRST, a worldwide organization dedicated to inspiring young people to be science and technology leaders and innovators.
