On Wednesday, September 27, 2017, the USPTO is partnering with the University of Minnesota Law School to present live PTAB and TTAB proceedings, including an AIA trial, and to provide an educational session where Board judges will share tips for successful advocacy before the TTAB and PTAB.
Opening remarks start at 12:30 pm CT in the Room 25 in the Walter R. Mondale Building at the University of Minnesota Law School. This program is best for patent and trademark attorneys who appear in front of the PTAB and/or TTAB as well as those who want to learn about practice before these administrative tribunals.
Immediately following the program, at approximately 5:15 pm, there will be a reception hosted by the Minneapolis Intellectual Property Law Association (MIPLA). Both the USPTO program and the MIPLA reception are free and open to the public. Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits will be offered.
