In order to increase transparency and public education, Petitions to the Director can be viewed in the Trademark Decisions and Proceedings search tool. The tool has decisions from July 26, 2023 to the current date. These are not precedential.

To view decisions before July 26, 2023 and prior years, expand a year heading below and follow these instructions:

Click the month to view the PDF file.
Select the “Mark Link” to open Trademark Status and Document Retrieval (TSDR) system.
Click on the "Documents" tab.
Under the Document Description column, click on petition document.
