Would you like to learn more about examination practices and procedural guidance for 35 U.S.C. § 103 examining evidence? Register today for part three of the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s (USPTO) virtual Instructor-Led Training (vILT) series on June 28. The course has limited capacity, and selection for attendance is based on a first-come, first-served basis.
This course is based on recent training delivered to patent examiners. You will see case law examples from the Federal Circuit that apply to rationales from the KSR v. Teleflex decision and will see how examiners are taught to consider evidence.
Participants will learn basic information regarding:
- Case law examples that apply to KSR v. Teleflex
- Preponderance of evidence standard
- Examples on how examiners consider evidence
The USPTO has been approved for two hour of continued legal education (CLE) credit in Virginia for this course. Learn more about the program and upcoming sessions.
