Office of the Chief Data Officer

The OCFO Office of the Chief Data Officer (OCDO) serves as the enduring management structure for USPTO data governance. In accordance with the Evidence Act of 2018, the OCDO is responsible for developing USPTO’s capacity to share, curate, catalog, and govern agency data for a wide range of uses, including decision making and maturity of the agency’s artificial intelligence capabilities.
