If you’re an entrepreneur, you can’t afford to ignore copyrights. Learn how copyrights can add value to your small business or startup, and how to avoid costly mistakes, at the United States Patent and Trademark Office’s (USPTO) Silicon Valley Office. USPTO experts will cover copyright basics, registration, enforcement, special considerations for 3D printing, and more. This event is free and open to the public. Register early.
Through the USPTO’s Global Intellectual Property Academy, the Office of Policy and International Affairs’ Copyright Team advises the administration and other federal government departments and agencies on domestic and international copyright legal and policy issues and provides technical assistance and training on copyright-related matters for both U.S. and foreign government officials.
Please note that the Silicon Valley USPTO is a federal facility. Visitors are required to present a valid form of government-issued identification (driver license or passport) and may be subject to security screening to gain access.
