The Office of the Chief Economist (OCE) hosts and co-hosts conferences at the USPTO or at partner institutions to explore legal and policy developments in IP and their economic implications.

EPIP (European Policy for Intellectual Property) PhD Workshop

OCE sponsors the European Policy for Intellectual Property (EPIP) PhD workshop. At this event, PhD students will be introduced to the latest theory and data on the law and economics of IP, receive career advice and obtain feedback on their work.

The annual Roundtable on Empirical Methods in Intellectual Property conference.
