Strategies for IP Protection in China: What Tennessee Rights Holders Need to Know

China IP Road Show

As part of its activities in observation of World IP Day, the Nashville Bar Association hosts the USPTO’s China Intellectual Property (IP) Road Show, with the participation of the USPTO’s Office of Policy and International Affairs and the USPTO Texas Regional Office. The Road Shows bring together policymakers and thought leaders on China IP issues from the U.S. government, academia, and practitioners—including local businesspeople and IP experts—to share insights that will benefit U.S. IP rights holders.

Topics to be covered in this Tennessee edition of the Road Show include:

  • Overview of principal IP laws in China
  • Enforcing your IP rights in China
  • Local businesses’ experience with IP protection and technology collaboration with China

Texas Regional USPTO Director Hope Shimabuku will speak during various sessions throughout the day.
