Strategies for IP protection in China
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s China Intellectual Property (IP) Road Show comes to Boise, Idaho on December 14, with a free, one-day program that will bring together experts from the U.S. government, academics, IP attorneys, and local business people to share their insights on China and IP issues that will benefit U.S. IP rights holders. The road show is one of a series of such programs that the USPTO is conducting across the country.
Topics to be covered include:
- What you need to know about protecting your patents, copyrights, trademarks, and trade secrets in China
- Where is China going on IP?
- Enforcing IP rights in in China, including from an e-commerce perspective
- IP in China — the Idaho experience
- Enforcing IP rights in the United States
- U.S. government resources for U.S. companies
The program has been organized in cooperation with Boise State University.
Attendance at certain sessions will qualify for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit from the Iowa State Bar Association.
