Receipts Accounting Division (RAD)

The Receipts Accounting Division is responsible for deposit accounts, patent maintenance fees, and refunds as follows:

• Administers and monitors USPTO deposit accounts;
• Processes payments and requests for patent maintenance fees;
• Coordinates and monitors most requests for refunds; and
• Responds to a wide variety of customer inquiries.
