This program in a series of monthly webinars designed to help Native American, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian visual artists and craftspeople develop and expand their e-commerce presence.
E-commerce for Native American artists and craftspeople
A monthly series of webinars exploring the challenges and opportunities for selling Native American arts and crafts online and establishing or expanding an online presence
Native American, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian visual artists face unique challenges today, with the shift to online sales, and continued limits on attendance at local arts and crafts fairs, where their work has traditionally found a home.
This monthly series of webinars will offer information and guidance to Native American visual artists from experienced entrepreneurs, e-commerce sellers, intellectual property specialists, artists and craftspeople, and others on how to navigate today’s e-commerce environment.
These 11 programs will be presented on the second Thursday of each month, from February through December 2022. There is no charge to attend, though you must register in advance. Programs will be recorded and made available for viewing after each program date. For more information, go to the individual program pages linked below.
Please note that there will be no program in March. Join us again in April.
This series has been organized by the United States Patent and Trademark Office's Office of Policy and International Affairs, in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Interior’s Indian Arts and Crafts Board (IACB) and Indian Dispute Resolution Services Inc. (IDRS Inc.).
